‘Ey up Waisty. Coming up to 2 years in HK already now. What’s surprised you most about this city? 嘿 Waisty。來香港已經快2年了。這座城市最讓你驚訝的是什麼？
The people. So far everyone I’ve met has always been so welcoming and friendly which I never really expected from a city like Hong Kong.

Energetic, experimental and messy.

What have been your musical influences that have put you in this direction? 是什麼音樂影響讓你朝這個方向發展？
I’d say DJ Marky in terms of artist, the way he chops and changes his tunes and brings so much life to his sets always inspires me to try new ideas when mixing.
Also I’d say Sticky Fried Vibes and everyone involved as they’ve been the main influence with me restarting my DJ Journey and I can’t thank them enough for welcoming me.

The unknown collaborations and opportunities that may happen. Starting to produce music and catching up with old friends.

What would be your dream gig venue? 您夢想的演出場地是？
Wonderfruit 2024. I loved the variety of what the festival had to offer but also the vibe was so relaxing and stress free, felt like I stepped into Shangri La. I feel like it’s a big aim but experiencing it for the first time last year, I’d like the challenge of delving into more experimental music that the festival hosts.
